The October trip was to Southampton..

The plan was to visit the Medieval Merchants House then to have a short walk to the West Quay shopping centre but about half of the group opted to go straight to the shopping centre! They spent a large part of the day in John Lewis browsing for Christmas gifts

The ones that chose to visit the Medieval Merchants House enjoyed it very much and went on to visit a Tudor house close by where the café was better.

The drive there and back was spectacular with the trees in their Autumn colours .
