It was a bright, chilly day for our trip to Clarks Village at Street and the Clarks Shoe Museum. The museum was interesting with 200 years of history, with exhibits showing the change of shoe fashion. It was amusing to hear people saying ` I used to have those’. There is an interesting international collection of marine reptile fossils uncovered and collected by Alfred Gillett, a member of the Clark Village. After the visit, it was retail therapy time. A good day out.
