We are a friendly bunch and have a physical meeting every 4th Wednesday of the month, except December. This takes place in Tesco’s community room in Trowbridge at 2.30.
Other than WWu3a membership charge, there is no charge for membership of our group as the meeting room is free and Tesco provide free tea and coffee and biscuits.
At the end of each year we collaborate in producing a task list for the following year. The general word limit for a story is between 250 and 1250. We distribute our stories around the group by e-mail, prior to meetings and read them out at the meetings for further discussion.
Generally the stories are for the groups own entertainment and critique. However on a rota basis we distribute a story every two weeks to the wider WWU3A membership. If you would like to receive copies of the stories by email please contact the Group Leader
To avoid disappointment please do not attend any events, group meetings or monthly meetings as a visitor unless you have, in advance, contacted the event organiser / group leader or Membership Secretary (for monthly meetings), Thank you.
