Our group aims to cater for anyone with an interest in gardening and gardens. It makes no difference whether your garden is large or small, or no garden at all. Flowers, shrubs or vegetables; we try to cater for all interests and our intent is to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone will feel welcome.
A varied programme of talks is organised between October and April. We meet in Southwick Village Hall.
We meet on the first Wednesday of the month. Tea or coffee and biscuits are available from 10am. Followed by a Talk/Speaker at 10.30am. A small charge is made which covers refreshments, hall costs and enables us to engage high quality speakers.
From May until September, on the first Wednesday of the month, visits to a wide variety of private and public gardens are arranged, some by coach and others by own transport. Coach trips are normally all day and own transport visits are usually at 2pm,
We are not experts but just people who enjoy gardens and gardening.
To avoid disappointment please do not attend any events, group meetings or monthly meetings as a visitor unless you have, in advance, contacted the event organiser / group leader. For Group Meetings or Events please use the 'Leader/Organiser' link above. For monthly meetings only the Membership Secretary, Thank you.
