We are a small, friendly home-based group of u3a members who enjoy pitting their wits against the wiles of the setters! This provides all-important grey-cell stimulation and quite a lot of laughter, including the obligatory “groan of the day” when a particularly tricky solution is revealed. We meet twice a month, on the second and fourth Thursday mornings.

Unfortunately, because there is a limit to how many people can fit around my dining table, we are currently full but we do keep a waiting list. Alternatively, if you’re interested and don’t want to wait for a space to become available, you could always come along on a one-off visit to see how we organise things which might inspire you to start Cryptic Crosswords 2?
