Situated in the green hills overlooking the Ozleworth valley, Newark Park is a great place to get away and explore the countryside. The garden and parkland's natural location means there are lots of birds to spot, such as red kites.
In January and February, carpets of snowdrops cover the garden at Newark Park. They are real seasonal showstoppers that brighten up the winter months. In 2026, there will be a celebration of snowdrops where visitors can learn facts about this unique species around the garden with a communal art display inside the house.
There are benches and fallen logs dotted throughout the garden and estate where you can stop and rest. See:
The car park is 100 yards from the house. There is a Tea Pavilion serving hot/cold drinks, light lunches, and a variety of cakes. Seating is outside and in a marquee.
The cost for this trip will be £17.00 for coach & drivers tip. Entry is free for National Trust members. Non members to pay for entry of the day.
Booking will open on Thursday 8th.January at 9.00am and not before.
