Enjoy Banbury, a Victorian Market Town on the Oxford Canal where you can enjoy lunch and a stroll or maybe visit the museum/ gallery where the story of the Civil War around the area is revealed.

We journey on to Sulgrave Manor and Gardens. Sulgrave is a mid-16th century Tudor Hall built by Lawrence Washington, the third great grandson of George Washington president of the USA.

The Hall was rescued from dereliction in 1914 by the Anglo-American Peace Centenary Committee. The Hall and gardens were restored by the arts and crafts architect Sir Reginald Bloomfield and opened to the public in 1921.

The Brewhouse offers toilets, tea, coffee and cakes plus a small gift shop.

Cost for this: £17.00 coach & drivers tip.  Entry to Sulgrave Manor which includes a tour and refreshments. £20.00.  Total cost £37.00 per person.
