Holiday to Marrakech. 12-16 November 2024
The trips organisers have been working on a holiday for you, the proposed dates have been changed to make it easier for Grand Parents who have half term duties to attend. It has the side effect of a small reduction in price. It is planned for a minimum of 20 persons to a maximum of 40.
The Holiday includes return flights from Bristol airport to Marrakesh with easyjet one piece of luggage per person.
Four nights Half board accommodation, breakfast and evening meal.
Three full days of guided excursions. Here is a taste of them.
Day one, depending on arrival time, free time and dinner.
Day two. Full day guided tour of Marrakech’s most iconic sights. Almohad Koutoubia Minaret. Saadien Tombs. Bahia Palace. Then the Souks for spices and handicrafts, and the sights of Djemaa el Fan Square.
Day three. High Atlas Mountains. Drive though the scenic Ourika Valley, visit a traditional Berber village, stop for lunch in Imlil, stunning views of Mount Toubkai.
Day four. Trip to the coastal town of Essaouira. Guided walk of the narrow streets of the medina, the port and the old town. Time for lunch.
Day 2. Full day City Tour of Marrakech’s most iconic sights; Almohad Koutoubia Minaret, Saadien Tombs, Bahia Palace and the labyrinthine Souks of Marrakech ending in Djemaa el Fna square with its array of street performers.
Day 3. The High Atlas Mountains. A drive though the Ourika Valley. A stop for an included traditional lunch in the village of Imlil. A drive in 4x4 vehicles to the Berber village of Aremd see the local culture and breathtaking views.
Day 4 Take a day trip to Essaouira on the coast. Stroll though the narrow historic streets of the Medina. Visit the port where there are numerous local restaurants.
Day 5 We hope to arrange an optional extra visit as the flight is not until the evening.
Price based on 35 passengers traveling is £979 per person sharing a twin/double room. Single supplement £129.
We hope to arrange transfers to Bristol airport at approx. £32 a head. But this will also vary depending on the number travelling.
You will need travel insurance and a current passport.
