We started out on a beautiful sunny day. Our first stop was Bridport. We had time to lock around the market and to go elephant spotting for some of the Stampede of the Sea. They were elephants donated by many shops, organisations in the area from West Bay to Lyme Regis. All monies received going to Welmar Hospice charity. After lunch we went to Mapperton House. Home of the Earl & Countess of Sandwich. The gardens are Grade 11 listed.
