We’re a friendly bunch with varying skills covering the full spectrum of painting and drawing, using acrylics, oils, watercolours, pastels, pencils and ink. We draw up a calendar of monthly themes if people want to take part, using this as an opportunity to share any particular skill or interest we have.
May joint project:
On identical squares, Friday painters let their imagination flow on the theme of love, flowers and butterflies and painted their hearts out! All squares were then pulled together under one frame to create a fantastic patchwork, now on display at URC Hall in Holt. We also had an outdoor painting session locally - “plein air”.
June subject was vignette painting; July is all about waves, skies and sea; August: horses.
We meet up at Holt United Reform Church Hall from 9:30 am to 12 ish, every week (except Good Friday and Friday preceding Last Bank Hol in August).
