French
We meet most Monday
mornings, in members’ houses and the atmosphere is very
informal and friendly. The sessions normally begin with
conversation and the topics are wide ranging. Although
there is no rigid time division, there is normally approx 30
minutes left for reading and translating.
We do have room for 1
or 2 more members and would welcome enquiries from those
wishing to share our aims: to increase confidence in
speaking, to develop a better understanding of the written
language and in doing so, to learn more of France and its
people. The one proviso is that some basic knowledge of
French is required (be it just a good recollection of school
French).
