Dolls House Miniatures
This house group is
held on the 1st Saturday in each month from
10.00am to 3.00pm approx in Rode. We have a great group,
plenty of laughter and along with it special talents which
we share.
This year’s workshops have been very varied, dressing
tables, adornment of hats and creating a hat shop. We
ventured into the world of art dressing an artist in his
smock, jaunty hat and patterned trousers. His background
was created with an artist’s easel, pallet, terrific
paintings were achieved and dirty cloths completed the
scene.
The making of 1/12 scale porcelain flowers was another
venture. This created various displays, daffodils,
carnations, roses, poppies, pansies etc. Exotic masks are
planned including ball gowns.
