Music Appreciation 2
Our main aim is to
pass on our love of music to anyone who hasn’t yet fallen
under its spell and to broaden our own knowledge and
repertoire.
We aim to introduce people to many different kinds of music,
composers and styles. We meet in the spirit of friendship to
listen to music once a month on the 3rd Thursday
afternoon from 2.15 pm, have a chat over a cup of tea and a
biscuit or two.
We listen to members of our own group and from Music 1 who
introduce us to music they love. We learn about composers,
their lives and their music.
We try to encourage members to take an active part in our
meetings but we welcome anyone who just wants to come and
listen, learn and enjoy.
