Music Appreciation 1
Now well into its seventeenth year, the West Wilts U3A Music
Appreciation Group 1 meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of
every month at 2.15pm in the lounge of St Thomas’ Church
hall in Trowbridge. There is a cost of £1, to cover hire of
the room and tea and biscuits, per meeting.
The purpose of the group is to listen together to classical
music introduced and discussed in an interesting and
informed way.
Participation by group members in presenting programmes and
suggesting themes and particular works for future programmes
is warmly encouraged. However no member is required to
speak: knowledge of the technology of music is not a
prerequisite for membership.
