What is the University of the Third Age (U3A)?

The University of The Third Age offers a programme of educational and leisure activities for the over 50s who are not in full time paid employment.

It is an organisation for retired or semi-retired people over 50 years old, who meet in various groups to follow subjects in which they have a particular interest.

No entry qualifications are required, no certificates or diplomas are awarded and there are no examinations. The object is to enjoy whatever is being considered.

Greenwich Trip with Devizes U3A

Anyone interested in going to Greenwich with Devizes U3A?

There are the Observatory and Planetarium, the Queens House and the National Maritime museum to visit in the attractive park.

The date is Wednesday, 2 September with the coach leaving Trowbridge Civic Hall at 8.00 am. The fare is £10.50, about the same as a cheap National Express fare and the Museums are free.

To book a place on the coach please contact the webmaster in the first instance for further information.

Trip to Exeter 16th September 2009
